Community Benefit Report
At Carle our focus is on providing the highest quality care to patients while also providing tangible benefits to the community. Community benefit is central to Carle’s long term goals because we understand that supporting our neighbors in need makes the community a better place for everyone. In 2011, Carle provided $131.8 million in services, donations and support to our community, which included $25 million in free or discounted care to more than 14,600 patients.
A report of Carle Foundation Hospital’s community benefits provided in 2011 has been filed with the Illinois Office of the Attorney General, a requirement for not-for-profit hospitals.
