Babysitting Clinic - Safe Sitters
Participants in Carle’s Safe Sitters Babysitting class will learn babysitting responsibilities, supervision of children, age-specific characteristics of children, accident prevention and emergency actions. Infant and child CPR will be introduced. Class members will also learn basic care of children including correct techniques for holding, diapering, feeding and burping a baby.
Babysitting class is a seven-hour course designed for individuals eleven to fourteen year olds. There is no fee for this class. For more information and to register for class, please call (217) 383-6962.
