Visiting Hours

Hospital visiting hours are generally from 9 a.m. – 9:30 p.m., however we want to promote family involvement and visitation at any hour if this is desired. Please speak with your loved one's nurse to discuss your family member's needs. Please note these guidelines may change based on patient status. Patients may request that visitors not be allowed by speaking with their nurse.

The following units have specific visiting hours due to the nature of the type of care provided:

OB Services

  • This is a secure unit. To enter, call from the phone located outside the entry doors.
  • Only children over 12 are allowed on the floor, unless they are siblings. Children under 12 may not spend the night.
  • It is preferred that one adult guest stay with patient overnight.

Labor and Delivery and Parkview Suites

  • These are secure units.
  • Three people may attend delivery, but only one if in Operating Room.

Postpartum

  • Visitors are limited to five guests at a time.

Critical Care Unit (CCU): Adult and Pediatric

  • Visiting hours are open, but we request that all visitors must ring bell at entrance and check in with nurse.
  • Each family receives six bracelets that must be shown upon entry. Any additional visitors beyond those with bracelets must be accompanied by an individual with a bracelet.

Pediatrics

  • This is a secure unit. To enter, call from the phone located outside the entry doors.
  • There is a limit of five visitors, including parents, at one time.
  • Visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Siblings of all ages are welcome to visit, but must be at least 18 to spend the night.

Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

  • 24 hour visitation; however visits are recommended between the hours of 9 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
  • Please check in using the intercom to make sure the patient is ready for visitors
  • Children must be over 12 and be accompanied by an adult
  • Please do not bring flowers or balloons
  • Please do not wake sleeping patients
