Carle Geriatrics offers specialized care for adults 65 and over. Our specialists provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for age-related challenges, from memory loss to immobility. For patients taking medications, our staff will review prescriptions on every visit to help prevent harmful drug interactions. And Carle offers the unique Geriatric Rounding Service, a partnership with local nursing homes to provide continuing care to patients who have been transferred to extended care facilities. Carle is proud to educate future doctors through our Geriatric Fellowship program, where graduate physicians from the University of Illinois College of Medicine train for specialty certification in geriatrics.
