Recently the local Champaign-Urbana newspaper ran a series of stories about Carle and its impact on property taxes in Champaign County. The stories included some factual information but were somewhat misleading in their coverage. More recently, elected officials from Urbana have been publicly sharing their views in local media and in various public meetings against Carle's property tax exemption. There is another side to this issue, one that is based in fact and deserves to be heard. As Chairman of the Carle Foundation Board of Trustees, I want you understand the effect Carle has in this region through its charity care, community benefit and economic impact. Carle Auxiliary Resale Boutique announces new hours of operation  3/20/2013

The Carle Auxiliary Resale Boutique recently changed its hours of operation. It is now open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Carle, Christie Clinic enter partnership at Champaign SurgiCenter  1/31/2013
The Carle Foundation and Christie Clinic will be entering into a joint operating and ownership agreement effective February 1, 2013 for the Carle Champaign SurgiCenter. This agreement will enable both organizations to work together to develop increased offerings for outpatient surgical services.

Carle unveils plans for new Mattoon primary care facility  11/13/2012
Carle is marking the start of construction and sharing plans for its new Mattoon primary care center which will allow for more providers and additional access to care for area residents. The 32,000 square foot, one-story primary care center will house family and adult medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, Convenient Care, X-ray and lab, in addition to an oncology infusion suite for Carle Cancer Center patients.
