2013 Carle/Salvation Army Toy Drive

Now entering its 29th year, the annual toy drive – a community service project of Carle, Salvation Army, and WDWS/WHMS/WKIO radio – will run Thursday, November 14 - Thursday, December 12. This year’s drive is designed to stoke your holiday spirit, challenging you to “Earn Your Elf Esteem”!

Earning your ears is simple: help those in need by dropping off any new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children through age 15 at the following locations:

Donors can also bring gifts, gift cards or monetary donations to Carle's all-day drive-thru toy collection on Wednesday, December 11, at Carle - Champaign on Mattis, 1802 S. Mattis Avenue. The collection will run from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., with Lite Rock 97.5's Mike in the Morning giving away fun prizes to our first generous elves.

Last year, we collected more than 2,700 toys and $2,200 in monetary donations and gift cards, which all went to help nearly 1,300 families and more than 3,000 children in our community. Let’s see what our elf efforts can do this year!

After you donate, make it official! Tell your friends you’ve earned your Elf Esteem by taking an “elfie” photo and sharing on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with #ElfEsteem. Pose behind the fun cutout poster next to the toy donation box and snap a photo right now!
