At the Carle Heart and Vascular Institute, we offer a full range of innovative diagnostic procedures, including the area's most advanced catheterization lab and the region's only electrophysiology (EP) lab.

Each year, our specialized team performs more than 35,000 electrocardiograms, more than 8,100 echocardiography (ECHO) tests and more than 6,800 vascular studies. Our comprehensive ECHO program was the first in the region to offer transesophageal echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiograpy, dobutamine stress echocardiograms and dobutamine transesophogeal echocardiograms. We also offer a pediatric ECHO program in conjunction with Carle Foundation Hospital's Department of Pediatrics.
