Women's Legacy Circle

Local women coming together to impact healthcare in our community

The Women’s Legacy Circle, a giving circle developed by the Women & Philanthropy initiative of The Carle Development Foundation, combines the resources and talents of local women to resolve pressing healthcare needs by funding extraordinary services at Carle. Members pool their charitable dollars, identify community needs and distribute funds according to the wishes of the entire Circle.

This grass-roots effort involves concerned women who want to make a difference and change lives. The Women’s Legacy Circle inspires, educates and empowers women to pool their charitable gifts to improve the health of their community. It also offers women a unique opportunity to combine their resources to fund and direct the expansion of extraordinary healthcare services at Carle.

Members of the Women’s Legacy Circle commit as little or as much time as they want. Annually, the circle meets three times to identify needs, collect funds, consider opportunities and channel resources to the need. If preferred, members can simply dedicate financial resources and cast their vote for how resources are used.

An annual gift of $500 designated to the Women’s Legacy Circle provides the investment needed to make a meaningful difference.
