When You Arrive
Instruct your partner to drop you off at the Emergency Department entrance on Coler Street. There's parking in the Emergency Department parking lot (southwest corner of Park and Coler). ED personnel will take you by wheelchair to the Labor Suites.
Friends and Family
Your family and friends will be very excited to hear you've gone to the hospital and anxious to know what's going on. We recommend you designate one person who can call friends and family to update them on your progress while you, your partner and the nursing staff devote time and energy to your baby. If you'd like your family closer, they are welcome to wait out your delivery in our Family Lounge, on the 10th floor of the hospital's North Tower. Please tell them that the nursing staff is not permitted to give out information about you or your baby. This ensures your privacy and confidentiality.
