Traveling abroad can pose serious health risks if you don’t take the right medical precautions. Carle Health is here to take the worry out of international travel with Travel Clinics in Champaign-Urbana and Bloomington-Normal. Our Travel Clinic staff are specially trained in the administering of vaccinations including, but not limited to Yellow Fever and Japanese Encephalitis, and prescribing Malaria prevention medications. Beyond your health needs, staff can also offer travel advice and provide travel resources. .

Domestic travel also comes with its own risks for certain members of our community members. It is important for travelers to pay attention to local, state and federal health information and monitor for outbreaks in the area you may be traveling to. Diseases like measles can commonly be found in parts of the United States, so its important to discuss your domestic vaccination needs as well.

It’s recommended that you schedule your appointment to our Travel Clinics at 4-6 weeks prior to your departure. You’re also encouraged to contact your health insurer before scheduling your appointment to confirm coverage of services.

For billing-related questions, please call Patient Financial Services at (888) 71-CARLE / (888) 712-2753.
