Birth Control Management

At Carle, we offer a variety of birth control methods that can be used to help prevent pregnancy:

  • Long Acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARCs) insertion and removals
    • Nexplanon® and Implanon® removals
  • Hormonal birth control
    • Oral contraceptive pills, contraceptive patch and contraceptive vaginal ring
  • Permanent contraception
    • Essure® (performed in Carle OB/GYN office or One Day Surgery.
    • Vasectomy (not performed through Carle OB/GYN services. Contact your primary care provider for a list of physicians who perform this procedure.)
  • Fertility awareness (including natural family planning)
  • Diaphragm fittings
